I decided to post these here since the Gaming Forum is not as well visited as Community Discussion.
I was messing around in PS 6 and decided to make some Clan {MR} related images. The first one was a basic Starcraft image thing for the {MR} SC clan.

This one was slightly modified using a Dark Templar image off the Blizzard website. I thought the red of the Templar image was a nice contrast with the overall blue of the image.
I like the other one better, but I decided to post both for comments.
Please feel free to copy the images and mess with them yourself. The only thing I ask is that you post your image in this thread as well. It would be kinda cool if we all started editing the images, leaving some of the original behind; but everyone adding their own creative content.

How come the pics have [MR] instead of {MR}?

The font I was using does not have "{}." It only has "[]."

That's okay, the Starcraft clan has to use [MR] on Battle.net anyway since {} isn't supported, I'll see what I can whip up.

Looking good. I'm not at my computer right now, so I can't use Photoshop, but I'll post something later tonight.

hitman, I want to do something with that first image you made. Can you take the background and make the text larger (36pt)?

You just want me to increase the font size on the first image?
The reason why I have not been able to keep editing is because I'm using a Mac with User Accounts turned on; Photoshop is not allowed under my account.

It does look kinda dark and edgy.
@asurace : here's the version you wanted.

Looks good.
For some reason I've gotten back into Marathon again. I had forgotten how easy it was to map with the tools Bungie provided.
I'll be mapping more now, but I'll still make some Clan [MR] images soon.

Here's another one.
I took your original image asurace, and just messed around with it.
It's a little more monotone than the previous ones, but I thought it looked alright.

Interesting, but I think I'll keep the current one. The one I made was inspired in part by an in-game dream sequence.

There was some discussion in the Game forum about creating the central Clan {MR} page. I though maybe we could use images like these to link to the clan sites.

Yea, we need a central page with all the clan logos. The Warcraft 3 clan needs to get a site too.

Isn't the WC3 clan headed by Macmanic?

bungie provided forge right?
isnt that what it was called?
any way it was an awesome program, i also liked the physics editor, i once made the napalm thrower unto a rocket pack, it was awesome;)
Yep, Forge was the map editor and Anvil was the physics editor.
Asurace knows of a better physics/pbject editor than Anvil though. :)

Make sure you have the Marathon : Infinity files though, since you cannot use Aleph One without them.

Aye, ShapeFusion for shapes and Pfhorge for maps, even better they're both OS X compatible. :D You also want Wail for sound files, Chisel for advanced maps, Cranberry for Pfhortran and ResEdit for various purposes.
