I am working in FCE4 putting together a 90-120 video. I am finally getting all the size/codec/what the hell am doing stuff figured out.
I am working with 1080 footage.
What would be the best program to compress to Mpeg2? And the best to burn with.
I am using an iMac 2.66ghz.

I suppose the question has been answered but I haven't seen it.

Thanks
Randy

You ...

... need to be more specific: Do you want to make a DVD with 1080p footage or a standard DVD? In the first case, you need a bluray capable editor and a disc burner. The latter one should be doable via iDVD. Final Cut Express itself can´t produce DVDs, but software like iDVD, DVD Studio Pro or Adobe Encore can.

iDVD is readily available to you, I guess, so try it out first. It depends on how much you want, or need a DVD menu.

Here´s a good description (works for iLife 09): http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iDVD/7.0/en/6652.html
