Why is there no premium Pandora app?

As much as I love Pandora I'm sick of the 6 limit skip thing they have. I'd also love for them to ditch the advertisements. I'd gladly pay 5 bucks for a premium app. Anyone else with me?

The advertisements go away when you join Pandora @ $36 a year. This is using the same app - they disappeared once I joined. I think the skip limit is dictated by the record labels, not Pandora.

I actually think it's dictated by law. If they want to keep their same classifications and not be "on demand".
