I've been offered a 2ghz white macbook from a friend but its broken, driveless, and power supply-less.

The problem is it won't turn on, hes tried a few things including taking it apart and has decided the logic board is dead.

My question is, is it worth buying for £50? Is there a similar problem to the older ibooks that can be solved by reflowing the graphics chip? (i know somewhere with a reflow station if this could well be the problem)

Whats the verdict people?
Thanks

If you were buying it for parts for another MB, then the LCD would be worth that $50. However, you could probably find an older MacBook for $300-500 that would be worth it over the time, effort, and money needed to fix that one up.
