iTunes, can't rename tracks.

I'm using iTunes 4.6 and OS X 10.3.4, for some reason I'm unable to rename tracks.

Clicking on the track name does nothing, if use "get info" I can't edit anything in any of the text fields.

I've tried deleting prefs, deleting the library file and reimporting, repairing permissions etc. but still can't edit any text fields.

Just tried reinstalling iTunes still no go.

Any ideas?

Nope it's a local disk.

Check the actual file's read&write permissions.

Done, I have ownership of all files and permissions are set to "read & write".

This is really odd.

Does it happen on all tracks or just certain ones?

I've had that problem. Any music that i buy from iTunes Music Store can't be changed in iTunes but can be change on your iPod.

All tracks, I don't have any music from ITMS so that's not the problem, but it effects all my tracks both AAC or MP3.
