Two versions of Mac on One HDD

Hi
I have a macbook with snow leopard on, but i need to install Normal 10.5 Leopard somewhere to get Pro tools 7 working. As it is not supported in snow leopard.

How would be the best way to install Normal Leopard, So i can still access my documents and music from snow leopard

Do i need to partition the hdd or something, or can i just install it in a folder somewhere?

You need to partition your HDD, for which you can either use Disk Utility or better Boot Camp, which creates a FAT 32 partition, which you can later re-format with HFS+ to install Leopard on it.

But know, that any Mac coming with Snow Leopard won't let you install Leopard, as it is an "older" system than it came with.

Putting Leopard in a folder won't work, like with Windows, as Mac OS X uses several folders in the root directory of a volume.
