I have a Powerbook G4 running 10.3.4. I have a firewire hard drive and firewire compact flash card reader. Both have worked in the past but won't show up now when plugged in. I have checked the system profiler and it recognizes that the devices are plugged in they just don't show up on the desktop or finder. I have tried every combination of plugging them in and restarting the computer. The drive is powered and the reader is not. Any suggestions on how I can fix this problem. Thanks.
