I'm running Win 7 64 bit on a stock End of 08 Macbook (Alu). Would this improve by buying some more memory or are there some settings I can change?

Windows 7 running slow in parallels

2GB of RAM is really too little to run Windows 7 well. Upgrade to 4GB and you will have a MUCH better experience.
