iPod syncs bacwards

i have smart playlist that have my most recent added songs and in itunes the most recent are at the top. but when i sync with ipod, ipod puts the most recent at the bottom so i have to scroll down to see the newest ones. it used to match itunes, now it is bacwards. any ideas why or comments?

Hold your iPod upside down when you sync. There's a mini gyroscope in the iPods that'll make your playlist be the wrong way.

Actually I have no idea. I'm just bored.
