Mac Mini as HTPC

I've been looking for a DRV and I've found there none on the market in Australia that do what I want so I'm thinking HTPC instead.

Will a Mac Mini have enough power to be able to use Elgato's dual digital HD tuner card without dropping frames while watching one channel and recording another?

Also I've heard of a Mini Displayport and USB Audio to HDMI device for the Mac Mini, does anyone know who makes them and where to get them from?
