Hey guys. I'm installing an EVGA 295 GTX in my Mac Pro. The Mac has 2 male 6 pin power connectors on the motherboard, and the card hastwo2 female connectors, one 8 pin, one 6 pin.

The card comes with a cable that completes the 8 pin connection. However, I cannot find anywhere a 6 pin to 6 pin PCI-E connector, and it's driving me mad! plenty of molex to 6 pin, 6 pin to 8 pin but not what I need!

Any solutions please?

Thank you.

Cheers man, it's an expensive cable though, all the way from States too.

Does anyone have any other solutions?

IIRC, ATI won't ship to the UK. Just the US and Canada.

But here's a site (http://www.svideo.com/x1900.html) that will ship them to you. Unfortunately, they're a tad more. But for a Mac, it's inexpensive.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a UK based location, save a special order from an Apple store (if the person even understands what you need, to order the right part). :(
