Actually the Onion usually uses mac when they have a computer in a picture. i distinctly remember Clinton looking at a powerbook in the story, "Clinton Googles self"

If I'm not mistaken, Bush does indeed use a Mac in reality. No matter who is elected, you can rest assured that Apple will be well represented in the White house. :) :P

I don't think it's meant to fool anyone...It's from the onion. It's parody.
