Parallels Performance

I have the I7 with 4 gigs of RAM.

Whenever i switch to coherence mode where the windows overlap the mac desktop the video performance blows. There is serious lag dragging windows or even using the apps.

If I switch to windowed mode it performs ok.

Seems like serious video driver lag with aero.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Assume you're using Parallels 5, as that's the first version that adds official Aero support.. But even then, there are video driver glitches. Read the extensive review here:

I personally don't bother with Aero and just turn it off.. it's just a useless eye candy, not necessary in VM environment.
