Hi,
Im quite desperate here, I have an iPod touch 16GB (1st gen), which is stuck in DFU mode. The screen is always black, unless when restoring in iTunes.

I have literally tried every tool out there, but am unable to get it out of DFU.

I have tried, iLiberty+, ZiPhone etc, but nothing works.

Anyone have a clue?

most likely it is gone. I am assuming applecare has expired on it? In general, most ipod-related fixes are pretty simple and easy to do. If you tried everything and it still doesnt work...good chances it will never work for you no matter what you do.

(i had a shuffle that keep getting error codes...I just sent it back for a replacement).
