I'm looking for a case that I can use for my iPhone 3GS to protect it while MTN biking, skiing, etc. so I'm in search of something that is a hard-shell type ideally offering some moisture protection as well as structural protection should I take a spill with it in my pocket, land on it, squish it etc.
Any recommendations? I have been looking at the OtterBox defender, but that thing is gynormous! I've also had a look at the Griffin Elan Form Hard case.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

case you want = OtterBox Defender (http://www.otterbox.com/iphone-3g-3gs-defender-case) I got mine for $30-35 on amazon

do a quick search in this forum for "otterbox defender"
i'm in the construction business, drop, shock & splash proof... great great case... couple of times a month i take the phone out for inspection and not a single scratch anywhere.....
I also snow ski, boat, mtn bike & ATV......

just do the search, you'll learn a lot.....

I completely agree, the Otterbox Defender Series is the best case I have ever used. Though the price is a little high it is worth every penny.

For those type of activities I 3rd that for the Outterbox Defender. I don't personally use it, my husband does, but he needs to Active Military. I use the Outterbox TL and love it.
