Not so original, but the editing job seems better on the Obama posters. Even on the Dark Knight poster (which was the best edited of the lot), the gloved hand seems a little too large for his face. But the work on Palin is extra creepy. It seems to capture some of her inner essence.;)

There isn't any. I suspect the comment came from someone who enjoys such jokes when they're aimed at a politician with which he disagrees on things.

Just remember, people, that if politicians are fair game for a joke, then all politicians are fair game for jokes.

Some of these were cute. :)

I think it would only be racist if it said the really dark knight. Otherwise he's the true dark knight, as in some kind of knight in shining armor savior.

So calling Obama a "jerk" is racist but calling him a "dark knight" isn't? Interesting...

Is it racist to point out that a person is dark when that is, in fact, the case? Have we gotten so politically correct that it's now taboo to acknowledge any differences between ourselves?

Just imagine, no more mentioning that someone's black/hispanic/asian/whatever. No more mentioning that someone's homosexual. No more mentioning that someone's Jewish or Muslim. And while we're at it, no more mentioning that someone's white, Christian, heterosexual, or male.

I think I'll pass.

I agree with you, Tomorrow. Imo, saying someone is black is no different than saying someone is blonde. Or tall. Or skinny. Its just a physical attribute we can use to identify ourselves and other people. Acknowledging one's "blackness," if you will, is certainly not racist unless its being used in a derogatory manner.

Obama's skin is brown.

I agree with you 100%. I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of selectively applying the race card. And to answer your (rhetorical) question: yes. "We" have. If you disagree with someone on the right, call them a racist. Disagree with someone on the left? Call them a commie.
