Just curious how people do it? Like in some of the August pictures a lot of people have changed colors of the toolbars, icons, etc.
I did this once with my Windows machine, but screwed a lot of things up. So I quit. But are there some non-catastrophic programs or methods of skinning Mac desktops?
Mike
+EDIT+ Found this in the August screenshot post:
Macfan26:
You can find icons from places like http://www.xicons.com or http://www.iconfactory.com To install them, choose "Get Info" from the actual icon, then copy the image. Then do "Get Info" on any of your drives, etc. and you can copy and paste the icon. (if that makes sense )
Is that process undoable? I mean if I don't like how an icon looked on say my hdd icon, how could I change it back?
