Simple question...I would like to use the same sort of layout there is on a mac for certain keys...like accents etc when using windows. You know how you can click alt-e to make an accent mark or control-shift-2 for the € sign etc. I'm too used to it this way to use the old PC US layout. Is there a way to do this on the windows side?

hi,
I have the same question. I write often in French on a US keyboard and I need é accents in Windows.

I use an external cheapo keyboard to write in Spanish, switch to Spanish ISO and working perfectly. Then unplug the keyboard and return to English.

The only problem that I have and still figuring out how to deal are these symbols: > < ª º , they don´t match in my external kbd. I have to copy & paste from the language panel.
