Hi,

My Performance MX mouse just arrived. Although it seems to work fine but I see a huge crack on the darkfield sensor.

See the Images:

Is it normal or should I get the mouse replaced? Can someone having this mouse please confirm if its defect or not? Please just turn over your mouse to check, I'd really appreciate.

Many Thanks!

No need to return it; mine is exactly the same. If you look closely, you will also see that it's more of a guaze lying on top, as opposed to a crack in a sensor. I would assume this is part of it's miraculous functioning - I have yet to find something it doesn't track on. You've made a fine purchase.

I have the same "problem". I guess it's there by design :)

yeah its just the Darkfield technology design. I've also seen it on the Anywhere MX mouse.

Yes, my Anywhere MX has the same marking. I was wondering what was.
