Stopping OS X from auto connecting to network

I'm running the latest version of panther and everytime I'm within range of a certain network, I connect to it automatically. Is there anyway to turn this feature off? I haven't been able to find it.

setup your laptop to only connect to a certain wireless station. System Preferences, Network, choose Wireless. Under the tab Airport, change from automatic to certain network.
