Hey guys,

I was at my local best buy this weekend and came across a open box 1.86 120gb gen Macbook Air for 1349, after talking to the manager he said he could sell it to me for 1099. Do you guys think this is a good price? They also had a 2.26 Macbook pro for 999. Thanks for the replies ahead of time.

If that MBP was 13" or 15" I'd go for that instead. Better performance - no real flash in the AIR unless your a collector and know the MBAir will be rare say in 10yrs.

I think that I'd rather pay $1099 to the Apple refurb store (at least the warranty info would be unambiguous). Ditto for the $999 MBP. It looks like they are matching Apple's refurb pricing. I guess some of it depends on proximity to an Apple store, etc.
