Blacklberry and IMAP to SLS

One of my guys has a Blackberry and for some reason when he tries to setup an IMAP account on his phone it says it can't connect, check the settings. We have both tried it, verified the settings work, can login with a desktop and web client.

Is there some kind of incompatibility in the BB with SLS? We have SSL turned on, is it a port thing? There doesn't seem to be a place in the BB to specify to use SSL and check the ports.

Ideas?

OK, I think it's a T-Mobile thing. I'm unable, even via the web interface, to set the email server to use SSL, so it isn't connecting.

Any T-Mobile users with a BB 8120 successfully using IMAP/SSL?
