Not sure, but it looks like a keeper. I still would never buy a laptop with an SSD, but hey that's just me.

Not thin enough, the Air needs 5.5mm.

It's also 2.5" drive according to an earlier story (http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/08/seagates-7-mm-momentus-thin-2-5-inch-hard-disk-for-slim-high-c/). The reference to similar sized 1.8" offerings means density not physical size.
