I wonder how different the Win 7 benchmark would be if they turned off Aero and all the eye candy. Classic theme anyone?

Thats interesting. I noticed for me, Windows 7 crashes explorer like there's no tomorrow when I access the AEBS shared drive when Windows Vista and Windows XP have no problems.

Not good. Not good at all. But I doubt the average user will notice.

Not really an issue - these benchmarking tools are written to test particular aspects of particular operating systems at a particular time.

Vista used to run slower than XP on some of these tests. Now it doesn't. In a year or so's time W7 will beat both.

its a 3D performance test, not a comprehensive system speed test, there are changes in win 7 for sure that it will takes time for the applications and test tools to catch up.

the title is misleading at best.
