Has anyone had this issue where the wifi option in settings is greyed out so you cannot turn it on at all. The techs at the apple store (where I bought my 1.4yr old 3G) said that the wifi chip is dead and I need a new phone. And...no they will not upgrade or give me any breaks. Seems to me a phone should at least last 2 years, or gasp....dare I dream... longer than 2 years!
