I received logic express 9 a while ago and I tried to install it a few hours ago.
The first time I tried I got the error The installation failed, with the text:
The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. I decided to install again, with no further progress.
I then restarted my iMac ( 4gb ram with 75 gb of space left, 2.4ghz intel core 2 duo) ran first aid on my disk, which said my disk was ok. I then tried installing again with no further luck.
I bought logic express 9 from amazon uk ( their own retailer not a side one.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated
