You would have to take the computer apart.... But yes it is possible!

The apple logo light is the same as your screen backlight. So you will need to open it and install some type of color screen on it. Too much hassle if you ask me.

easy, no hassle at all, only people that dont know anything would say that, i picked up a black MB with a broken screen last week, it took me less than half hour to change the screen and do the mod,. i bought a red plastic folder from the dollar store!! (no need to order anything online), just cut out what you need and tape it on. FIY this was my first time taking it apart. too easy..

No one said it was hard? I said he would have to take it apart and the other guy said it was to much of a hassle for himself...

I once attempted this with my old ibook.... I bought a sample pack of plastic screens used in stage lighting on amazon for like $6. It came with like 100 colors too.
