Hey guys - Im new here, so please bare with me if I didn't post the right place.
Im a new Macbook White owner - thats the newest one on the market.
I play a lot of CS:S - now the problem is, that I almost got 60-70 FPS, with low settings and a resolution on 800 x 600 or 1024 x something I don't remember.
My friend can play with high-settings and he still haves over 150 FPS! He got a Macbook Pro.
Could someone help me with this? - I want to play sometimes on the Mac, and its not quit entertaining with a laggy game.
Thank you so much, guys!
Regards munity.

Crossover is horrible.
I ran CSS on my Aluminum MacBook without any problems for a little bit, then once I reformatted, I reinstalled it and it ran like crap.
I went from having decent FPS, to about 20-30FPS.
Just install BootCamp, it will save you a lot of trouble.

Thanks for the tip - could you answer these questions:
1. Should I run with WinXP and SP3 32-bit or Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit?
2. How many FPS do you got? - And what settings are you playing with (resolution, model details, antialiasing etc.)?
Thank you very much. :)

Well, I haven't played it in a while... but I do remember when I had it installed on bootcamp, I had at least 70FPS on 1280x800 (max resolution). I don't remember the detailing, sorry.
I have XP 32-bit installed. I don't know if Windows 7 will give it a boost in performance or not.

Hey, thanks for the answer.
I think you had some medium-high settings with that resolution - Thats fine with me. Im installing XP SP3 tomorrow!
Again, thank you for your help.

I play CS:S at 1280x800 @ everything maxed out and 2x AA/4x AF and still get ~50+ fps stable. That's on a MacBook Air too

Wonderful, Im not going to play at 1280x800 or getting 2xAA/4x AF on - That will give me a FPS-boost. :)
