Did Bush actually come out and say that Saddam Hussain was connected to 9/11, or just imply it?

He never came out and said it. But it was "alluded to".. Let's just mention Saddam and September 11th in the same sentence and let the listener draw their own conclusions. Good little sheep..

That's been a pretty hot topic since the first state of the union after 9/11. IMHO, the actions and words of this administration have all been very cold and calculated political misdirection of the people that pay no attention to politics until something explodes.

And now this country is wrapped up in Iraq, when "those who aid terrorists" are in many of the surrounding nations. Can anyone say "saudi"?
