3DS or Maya on a nvidia 8600M GT 256MB card

Hi,

I have a 15" macbook pro, 2.4 GHz duo core, 4GB RAM with a GeForce 8600m GT 256 MB card...

Do you think it'll run 3DS Max and/or Maya ok?

I read in the other thread that this macbook pro should have enough power to run 3DS Max, BUT, I'm concerned my video card can't handle it.

You don't need hardware acceleration for 3D apps. It helps tremendously, but aren't need. Hell, I model with a GMA 950. The 8600M GT is fine.
