Duff-Man says....I was just over at Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (http://www.nickcaveandthebadseeds.com) to check out any news on the upcoming CD. Well, they've posted a couple soundbites and also the video for the first single...quite a departure from his last couple records - production is a bit more "commercial" sounding, and I mean that in a good way...geez, might even get played on the radio. Now I need some North American tour dates please Nick.....oh yeah!

I saw Nick in Boston about 4-5 years ago at the Roxy I think. Great show.
I also like several of the spin off bands - Einsterzende Neubauten, Crime and the City Solution, etc.
I have a tape of them when they were called The Boys Next Door from way back. Used to have some Birthday party stuff as well, but not sure what happend to it.

Had not heard about the new album, gonna have to check it out.

Of course! The Birthday Party was also a great band and Your Funeral...My Trial is one of my fav albums.
