On Yahoo today there is an article on the health care bill and the apparent conflict between the Republicans passing the prescription drug benefit and voting as a block again the current overhaul of health care.
Orrin Hatch when asked why he voted for the prescription drug benefit in 2003 replies...
Six years ago, "it was standard practice not to pay for things," said Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah. "We were concerned about it, because it certainly added to the deficit, no question."
