I current have a Wordpress blog hosted by a 3rd party hosting co. This will be my 3rd year and am wondering if I should jump over to SquareSpace before I have to reup in Jan. My main issues are 1) my current hosting company is so slooow. It takes forever to load my site vs. any other site. and 2) I'm kinda bored w/ the layout & thinking SquareSpace might offer better tools for those not fluent in web languages.

OTOH my current host is $8 a mo vs. SquareSpace @ around twice that for similar service. Any "switchers" here?

Why switch? if all your running is a blog , you can get that free from Wordpress.com, and Blogger which is googles blogging package.

I know there are 10% discounts out there on the web for them "Squarespace"
