Quicktime and Safari

Does anyone know why you can't download quicktime movies in multiple tabs at the same time with Safari? In order for that movie to download, it has to be the active tab. You can downloand multiple movies in multiple windows but not in multiple tabs. This is very annoying when I want to watch a trailer in Safari while another one is downloading. This works in every other browser that has tabbed capabilities.

You are correct this does occur in safari. I am not aware of the reason or a solution except to load the movies in seperate windows.

Ok thanks. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed because I've never seen it mentioned in any other of forum and it is a major frustration that I have with Safari.

This is a "bug" I have reported to apple on a few occasions. Go ahead and report bug to apple and let another voice be heard about this slightly annoying feature.
