Hi all, I installed the application flip4mac to try it out but came to the conclusion that I do not want it. I want to move the folder/app from the finder/applications window to the trash but keep getting this report:
"The operation cant be completed because you dont have permission to access some of the items"
Can anyone please tell me how to get it trashed?

How can you NOT want flip4mac? It's free and totally useful!

To delete it, however, you ought to check over at the flip4mac site. I wouldn't want to recommend something that could bugger up your computer.

Are you logged into an administrator account? Check your permissions on the Applications folder via the Get Info command.

Interesting. Assuming you are an admin you might want to repair disk permissions either with Disk Utility or using a third party app like Onyx.

Yes, I am the only user and do have all of the permissions. this is true for all the apps., also on the flip4mac app.

I tried what you suggested but it did not help. A restart however did solve the problem. I thank you all for your help.
