Learning Programing

I've downloaded Xcode but haven't played with it at all. I would like to program basic games and then apps for the app store eventually. Anything else I need?

Just run threw the basic and show me some tutorials that will guide me through my first program.

You'll need patience and a lot of time. What you want to do is not a 1- or even 2- year goal if you're like most people. Programming at the level you seem to want can take many, many years.

Enter to Mac Dev Center:

and read those "Required Readings"

And as miles01110 said you'd better be patience :)
