My friend has a 15" 1.25 ghz Powerbook, and he's looking to upgrade his RAM. I'm curious if he were to give me one of the sticks and replace one, if it would fit in my 12" 1ghz Powerbook? These machines came out at the same time, and I'm just curious if it could happen. Thanks in advance~

As long as you only have the standard 256MB of RAM in your 12" it should work perfectly, otherwise you'll need to remove the chip in the user accessible slot.
The 12" requires PC2100 RAM, it'll accept faster PC2700 also.

Disregard post. I mistook the models in question.
They do not use the same speed ram as pointed out below./

They both use the same ram speed and type..
No they don't.
Rev B 12" = PC2100
Rev A 15" = PC2700
