Help with iPod purchase

I am looking for a 10gb iPod. I see that Apple.com is selling a reconditioned 10gb one for 169.00 w/free ship. Does anybody know if this is a 2nd or 3rd gen? If it is a 3rd are the buttons backlit? And if anybody has a better deal for me that would be great too.

it says: with dock connector.

so it's a 3rd gen. and all of them are backlit.

considering the year warranty, i think it's the best deal you will find.
