I cant find anything on this and im really confused. Either after new app updates or new app installs, periodically ive been hearing a strange 2-3 sec melody play. It doesnt give me any notifications or anything and it plays it while either on home screen or when I open an app. Last night it did it when i opened an app called Loopt mix. Nothing new pops up on the screen nor any notification or alert. I have no clue what it is. Does anyone else experience this? Its really annoying me and I dont want to turn off notifications or alerts or badges cuz i actually like to know when I get new messages but those seem to have their own sounds. It didnt always do this so I dont know if its an app problem. Please help 🙁😕

Something disconnecting? Nimbuzz plays a loud random tune in a similar manner to what you describe when it disconnects after doing 15-60 minutes of push notifications.
Really? I do have nimbuzz. I didnt know it made a noise when it disconnected. That would make sense. I have it set to an hour. Thanks 🙂 Maybe thats why its only sometimes lol when i opened it.🙂
