So my First Generation MacBook has the following:
1.83 Ghz
Two 2 gigabyte Crucial SO-DIMMs DDR2 SDRAM
320 WD Hard Drive
Snow Leopard
Bootcamp partition at 32 gigs. but nothing is in it.
My computer runs at 120 to 170 degrees Farenheit
normal is 120
high is 170
I got the memory upgrade when i switched to Snow Leopard
Now, the problems:
The computer shuts down. Randomly. Without Warning. Just pfffffffffft.
The temperature is around 150-170 during those
It will shut down no matter what i am doing
the other problem:
i have no idea what to call this, so since a picture tells a thousand words:
http://tinypic.com/r/2aj253l/6
http://tinypic.com/r/295vbyq/6
See those bars? ya, i have no idea what that is. the computer just stops responding. no mouse functionality. no keyboard functionality. nothing.
the only response i get is when i force shut down (press and hold the power button)
So, any help?
