My safari was sooo slow. I deleted it and reinstalled off the Apple website. However, they most current download from Apple is 1.2 and I need 1.2.2 and software update says I am up to date. Any thought on how I can reset this to get the latest Safari update?

Also, the slowness is still there. Some web pages take FOREVER to load. I know its not my connection as my laptop does just fine, so its a software related snafu.

The Software Update looks in the /Library/Receipts folder to see what you already have installed. You could try looking in there are deleting some receipts...

I tried deleting all receipts labeled Safari. I wonder if there is another type of receipt name for it.
