Open Path app on Cydia..what for?

Sorry for the potentially dumb question but what is the purpose of this app? I have iFile and have been trying to use Open Path but cant figure out when and why it would be useful. I guess that means I dont need it then?
 
It adds a 'Open Path' item to Action Menu Plus which opens selected paths in iFile.

If you don't have Action Menu Plus then there's no use for it.
