Question for Thunderbird users

Ive installed Thunderbird Email for Mac on my iMac. However, I cannot send email, I can receive, but not send. Is there anyone out there who uses AT&T (Bellsouth.net) ISP, who can suggest to me how I should set up my Outgoing SMTP Server configuration for Thunderbird Email? Thanks.

I had the same problem and used the following settings to send email:

Outgoing Server (SMTP) under Tools and Account settings.
Description - ATT SMTP Server
Server Name - fmailhost.isp.att.net
Port- 465
Username - insert your own name
Secure Authentication - Yes
Secure Connection - No
