After spending a small fortune on different cases, some have failed and some have been pretty good. But I can finally come to this conclusion:
First, pick up a ZAGG InvisibleSHEILD for your phone. This encases your phone in a very thin layer of tough plastic, making your entire phone scratch proof.
Now, the problem with these are they are quite hard to install and the meeting points and end points get dirty and rub off.
Then, buy yourself an iBand from Tech|21. (Google)
This uses a brand new British Technology called D3o. It is soft and flexible under gentle pressure but the moment it is dropped, the molecules instantly tighten up and keep your phone safe.
The great thing about this is, it hides your dirty end pieces of your Zagg Shield and doesn't cover the back of the phone so you can still see that lovely Apple Logo and it retains simplicity.
It really is the ultimate set up for protection your phone. It is scratch proof, and drop proof. It is cheap, keeps your phone very usable and viewable and also adds grip without too much weight or bulk.
WORD OF IMPORTANT NOTE: Tech|21 recently revised their design adding cut-outs for volume control and the power button as opposed to just raised bumps. It is VITAL that you buy Version 2 (with cut-outs) or you will be sorely dissapointed.
