View Full Version : I need some tips (iMac)
I just bought my first iMac 27" i5. Can someone give me tips on keyboard short cuts, and anything else that might be useful for a first time mac user. Also how do I transfer my iTunes library from my pc to my mac? Thanks

First of all, the command key (next to space) is the control key from Windows so eg. cmd + c is copy etc. Great list can be found here (http://guides.macrumors.com/Keyboard_shortcuts)

Hey - I have done so many damn mac to pc and pc to mac itune transfers that I lost count. Your best bet, if you want to retain you ratings, play lists, apps, etc, is to just do backup to dvd and then restore. Otherwise moving music is as easy as copying the music folder in your profile, but you dont get to retain the other stuff.
