Switcher - iBook Updating

Ok, a friend of mine who I convinced to switch to Apple - an iBook - only had dialup and needs to get all those lovely Apple updates.

Is there a way to get them with my broadband and burn them to a disc for her?

uhh...if it's an iBook why doesnt she just use your broadband connection?

Work friend who lives a good 2 hours in the opposite direction from me... no easy access to broadband in Sydney for a non-wireless ibook...

you could ask to borrow her ibook, update it, then return it.

Sure. Thats a sound theory. So when you get your next NEW mac book you'll be happy to hand it over for an evening with your administrator password...? ;)

Easy enough to burn and let her update that way.

I for one wouldn't even have given up my crappy ol Windoze laptop - let alone the pride and joy of my life!
