OK, I am selling some of my old macs, but need to fix them first.
The combo drive on the 12" (rev a) Powerbook just went out. DVD player crashes the second a DVD is loaded, only reads data CD's, etc.
A "Clamshell" iBook SE Graphite with a DVD/CD-Rom drive also needs to be replaced. Doesn't even read CD's without loading the CD then restarting. I also need a battery for this bad boy.
MY QUESTION:
Where is a good place to find these? I've looked all over, even on eBay but can't seem to find any replacement drives for these. The one I did find was $250+, but I'm looking for something around $100-$150, cheaper the better.
