Ok, so my friend has a 2nd generation 1GB iPod Nano. He doesn't use it any more because he has an 80GB Classic. I asked him if he would sell it. He said that if his mom says yes (It was given to him as a Christmas gift) then he will. He said that the battery only lasts for about an hour. I would use it for running because I don't want to drop my iPod touch again.
How much should I give him for it? I don't want to cheat him.

They're selling on ebay for about $80. Since your friends' battery needs replacing and depending on how much wear and tear is evident, I probably wouldn't go higher than $40 or $50.

$40-$50 for 1gb 2G Nano?
I'd rather buy a shuffle in the same price...
