powerbook g4, odd chirp noise?

ANYONE'S PB G4 12" REV C make a odd "chirp" or beep sound once in a while?

began hearing one, pretty sure its coming from the PB. Also is it normal for the HD to be pretty audible?

yeah , i have noticed one too from my PB G4 15" REV B; it happens every few minutes whether or not any apps are open; only when i put it to sleep do all sounds cease / stop. As far as the HD, i haven't heard any noises...hope this helps.

Any idea what that chirp is? Or has there been any documentation about this?

Thats easy! Theres a bird in your powerbook. Its a new feature apple put in. Its so you can find your PB in the dark. Just follow the chirp. Just remember to feed it every once in a while.
