So I got my white unibody macbook about a week ago (my first mac, btw, and I love it) and I have a few questions about the ram. I installed CS4, but I when began drawing, I noticed that the pen lagged a bit. (More so than my 1 1/2 year old Dell desktop at least) It's not huge, but it's pretty annoying. I'm also going to be installing Final Cut soon too. Would upgrading the ram to 4gb solve this problem/at least help it out? Thanks.

Go for the 4GB. It's the sweet spot for OS X. I don't do much heavy lifting and the difference between 2 and 4 is quite noticeable.

It is probably the cheapest and easiest way to improve performance

Yes. As others have said, 4GB RAM is awesome on OSX. Well worth it to someone as impatient as I can be. :D

You will see a performance improvement for sure. I would go for it.

It's the cheapest and easiest way to boost performance.

Edit - Someone beat me to the punch...

With CS apps, I tend to have more than one open at all times, so RAM is quite the commodity.
